Our Story
Alpha-Ro Race Timing began with Al Garcia. A lifelong runner and coach, Al spent years on start lines and finish lines, and he saw firsthand how much a smooth, accurately-timed race means to athletes and their families. He turned that passion into this business — bringing professional chip timing, live results, and finish-line systems to races across Atwater, Merced, and Central California.
Today Al still leads every event personally, with his wife Rochelle supporting him every step of the way. What started as one runner’s love of the sport is now a family-run company trusted by schools, charities, and race directors throughout the region.
